Samantha is an award-winning photographer and member of the University Photographers’ Association of America. She earned her degrees in journalism, specializing in photography, and English studies from Ball State in 2015. Her passion for photography flourished from a young age, leading her to join Marketing and Communications in 2016 as the first female full-time staff photographer. Since then, she has expanded her storytelling methods to include videography.
When she doesn’t have a camera in hand, Samantha loves to travel, read, write poetry and short stories, play video games, play TTRPGs, and is often found cheering on the Indy Fuel, an ECHL team based in Indianapolis.
The Muncie native shares her home with her orange tabby, Sherlock.
